Feudalism Definition:
A powerful social system in old-fashioned European political, where people worked and fought for good people. A lord owned all the land while the vassals and serfs took care of it and farmed it. It ended in 1400s.Social Classes In Feudal System
*In feudal system there were four different types of social classes.King/Monarch
For Kings and Monarchs they ruled the whole kingdom and they also owned all the land in the country. The king had all the judicial power. The king had total control all the assets and decide as how much quality of land should be provided on lease to the barons. if any barons exhibited a bad performance, the king had all the power to withdraw the granted land.Barons/Nobel's/Lords
The lords were controlled by the king. In feudal system hierarchy Barons were the second wealthiest class after the kings and monarchs.. They were known as the Lord of the Manor. Barons were called Nobel's also. Barons had their own legal systems and had their own currency. They had to provide troops for the king when the King needed help. The Barons had to pay homeage to king in return of the Manor. If a Baron happens to die, his Manor was passed on the next generation by heredity.Knights/Vassals
The knights and Vassals had the protect Barons and his family. Knights were known as military men. They used to keep a part of land provided to them by the barons and distribute the rest to Villains. Their main job was to give protection to the king and then they were paid quite well. The knights expected protection for their families and the king from the part of knight in return. They also used to set their own taxation and rent guidelines for the Villeins.Villains/Peasants/Serfs
The Villains land was granted by the Knights. They weren't allowed to leave the Manor without the prior permission of their Lords. They used to be the poorest class in feudal system. The Peasants of serfs were at the very bottom of the feudal system. They had to provide food and service to their superior classes when they were asked. The free peasants worked on their independent businesses. They were paid a certain amount of the rent to the Lord for their land. They worked as carpenters, weavers, bakers, and blacksmiths and some other few things.Cites

Paragraph for Friday's Activity
On Friday, the activity we did made me have a better understanding of the feudal system. I learned many interesting facts about it. One thing I learned was that the Serfs were the poorest class and the kings and monarchs had the most power. The kings and monarchs ruled everything. This activity had more sense than doing research in my opinion because we were acting like we were living in they life time.
